Measurement Guide for Bangles

Millimeters are used for two primary reasons. First, smaller numbers enable more precise bangle size calculations. Second, millimeters are the standard unit we employ for measurements.

The Most Accurate Method: Diameter
To determine your bangle size, follow these steps:

1. Fold your hand into the gesture Italians use to express frustration, ensuring it is tightly folded.

2. Gently wrap a soft measuring tape around your hand just below the knuckles. If a measuring tape is unavailable, you may use a string or paper strip to mark the length, then measure it with a ruler.

3. Once you have the diameter, divide it by π (3.14). Round the result to the nearest whole number to determine your bangle size.

For example, if your hand diameter is 203 millimeters, divide 203 by 3.14, which equals 64.6. Rounding this number gives you a bangle size of 65. You may adjust the size by adding or deducting strictly 1 millimeter, meaning you can choose a bangle size between 64 and 66.

How a Bangle Fits Through Your Hand
To wear your bangle, fold your hand tightly as described above. Slide the bangle over your hand, which may feel snug but is normal. To ease the process, apply a non-harsh lotion to your hand for smoother slipping.
